Does your project rely on one of our open-source projects for its business-critical features? Don't want to wait for a best-effort reply on a public question and prefer a quick support call? Or perhaps you care about sustainability and want to ensure sustainable development of our projects with long-term support?
By signing up for one of the available sponsor packages, you can help make sure that we can justify spending time on our open-source projects and you support sustainable open-source projects. As a reward, your name or company will be mentioned on our public sponsorship list and you will be included in our yearly sustainability report. On top of this, you are eligible for direct one-on-one support, so you don't have to wait for a best-effort reply on a public question and because some things that are best addressed in private.
This is a quick and easy way to sponsor my projects. If you are interested in more individual sponsorships, please do not hesitate to contact us.
We love working on high-quality open-source projects. If you're using one of our projects and anything's unclear, don't hesitate to reach out for help.
We're sure you understand that answering every non-commercial request individually neither scales nor allows us to pay any bills. That's why we'd like to ask you to post your non-commercial questions in a public place, preferably the project's issue tracker, Twitter or IRC, instead of sending us an email. This way, more people get a chance to participate in seeing these questions and helping provide answers.
Doesn't fit your needs? Perhaps you're interested in more custom support that you can get by sponsoring our open-source work or hiring us for custom consulting work.
Here are some frequently asked questions.
No worries, we're here to help. Check out the free open-source support section above for more details on how to best get in touch and we'll make sure to get back to you as soon as time permits. As a rule of thumb, the more details you provide, the better.
Thank you, much appreciated! As much as we love working with open-source, it can be a lot of hard work, so we appreciate your will to help.
The best way to help us is by letting us know you're out there. Start by sending a hello our way and perhaps let the world know how you're using our open-source projects.
If you're interested in contributing to our open-source projects (this could include feature additions, expressing wishes, reporting bugs, helping with visuals or documentation and much more), make sure to let us know. You can always file an issue in the respective open-source project issue tracker or reach out to us personally.
If you want to support us financially, that's cool – but we don't expect you personally to send money our way. Instead, check if your employer is using one of our projects in a commercial project and if one of the above sponsor plans or custom consulting makes sense for them to support our open-source work instead. If you're a solo developer, you can always start by spreading the word and letting the world know why you think one of our projects needs more attention ❤︎
Thank you for asking. At the current time, we do not want to ask individuals for a donation.
There are a number of reasons for this, perhaps most importantly we care about sustainable open-source and we think asking individuals for donations is unfair. Does your project rely on one of our open-source projects for its business-critical features? Consider signing up for our sponsorship instead. If you're not making any money with our projects, we wouldn't want to ask you to donate any money. If you want to show your support, you can ❤︎ sponsor us on GitHub, but we completely understand if you don't. Instead, let's wait until your project takes off and start by spreading the word! ❤︎
We are registered freelancers in Germany (Freiberufler) and provide proper invoices including VAT as applicable for all B2B contracts.
Bummer, but that's not a question.
We get that there's no one-size-fits-all pricing scheme. This page serves as a reference point so you can get an idea of how we could work together and whether it makes sense for us to collaborate. If you feel your work is special and not covered by the above pricing plans, you can always reach out to discuss more specific needs.
We need to talk, let's chat.
